These bails are perfect, there is no variation from piece to piece like on cheap ones. The classic design goes with anything. I will use Horton Brasses for all my furniture projects.

I ordered this pull for the drawer in a small table I'm making. The handle and back plates are fairly simple in design and are just what I wanted for this project. The only thing it doesn't have is a stop to prevent the bail from knocking the wood when let go.

Over 20 years ago, I refinished a maple bedroom set (dresser, one nightstand, headboard/footboard), and ordered a set of knobs and bail pulls from Horton Brasses because I wanted quality hardware for a quality set. Fast Forward 20 years, and I found a matching nightstand on Craigslist, refinished it, and had no doubt that Horton Brasses would still offer the same classic style and quality. One drawback: the stand was slightly different, and the bails were too loose for the holes in the drawers, and inspite of an accurate center to center measurement, the holes were just large enough to cause the bail to fall out of the posts. All it took was one call to HB and they sent out two other sizes of bails for me to try to see what would work best. In spite of that fluke on my end, they were happy to work to find a solution for a good fit. Love to do business with a company that makes a high quality product, keeps their classic products in production, and has wonderful customer service. Will continue to watch for second hand treasures, and use HB to finish them!
