The brass cools down inside the mold, hardening in the process. Then, the mold is broken, with the parts cut off, and the brass is ground, tumbled, and carefully cleaned by hand. These are truly the best window pulls we have seen. We have been searching for appropriate pieces for our large, double hung, 100 yr old replica Marvin windows. They are heavy and beautiful and lift easily. Love the Victorian design. We may order 4 more.
