Gil chose this piece because he wanted to learn to carve the ball and claw foot, which he found a great experience. The piece is made from figured mahogany, and the drawers have avodire crotch veneers that compliment the mahogany beautifully. This piece is a gift for his mom. Gil is now working on a coffee table with more ball and claw feet, because after all, practice makes perfect.
We charge a mere $5.00 for standard shipping on all orders shipped in the US. We use FedEx, UPS and the mail. Please don't ask us to reduce the $5.00 because you are ordering one or two items! We have the lowest shipping charge in the industry and we do not make any profit on shipping. Whether you order $3.00 or $3000.00 worth of hardware, there are certain costs in simply processing your order. $5.00 is fair.
