Writing Slope Lock

This is a very nice lock, and was most commonly used on lap desks or desks with sloped writing surfaces. The receiver is mounted on the writing surface and because it has no 'prongs', it does not get in the way of the person using the desk.

LK-30: writing slope lock - This full mortise lock is 5/16" thick. Suitable for wood 3/4" thick, and can even be used for 1/2" thick wood. The brass top plate is 2-3/8" long by 3/8" wide. The body of the lock, a half moon, is 1" tall and 1-1/2" wide. The depth to pin is 5/8".
