Hepplewhite

Hepplewhite pulls are made from steel dies and punches made by Frank A. Horton. He spent weeks carving individual kernels of wheat onto each stalk, words in the ribbons the eagles carry in their beaks, and veins in leaves. Hepplewhite pulls celebrate life in the New World, at a time when European air was polluted and countries were over crowded and industrialized. Each one is a tribute to my grandfather.

Hepplewhite Pulls

Delicate embossed oval pulls, stamped and finished one at a time. If you have existing holes, carefully measure from the middle of one hole to the middle of the other. This is called the boring. Then choose a pull with the same boring as yours. This way, you will not have to drill new holes and possibly affect the value of your antique piece.
