Queen Anne Chased Brasses
Hand chased brasses date back to 1680-1760, and are some of the earliest American hardware. As early furniture began to incorporate decorative elements, the brasses followed suit. Chasing was placed individually, by hand stamping a design with a hand made punch.
Our pulls are still chased by hand - each is unique. Chasing patterns are faithful copies of period patterns, and each tool is carefully handmade.

Lynn joined us in February of 2001. In that short time, she has really mastered the antiquing process. We color about 15,000 parts per week, so handling this department is no small task. She has an excellent eye for color and manages her department like a master chef does a kitchen.
