William & Mary pulls with matching escutcheons

William & Mary pulls with matching escutcheons

These hand chased pulls are very early and can often be found on museum pieces that date from 1670-1730. Delicate wire bails (the handles) and matching escutcheons were commonly found on highboys, tall chests and 'wedding chests.'

The wire bails are attached by cotter pins. Installing cotter pins is easy, once you have tried a couple for practice. If you have never done it, you may want to order a couple extra cotter pins. Click here to see an installation diagram. Every order comes with the same diagram.
