Maple Knobs

Looking for WK-20? We were forced to discontinue it recently. It used to be here, though. Glen Huey used it when he built his Southern Sugar Chest. You can see the piece in the June 2007 Popular Woodworking article. WK-3 1-3/4" is a fine substitute.
Maple is a great wood for knobs. It takes finish easily, it has a nice tight grain and sands to a smooth finish. After these knobs are turned, they are lightly sanded, so only minimal further sanded is needed.
