See the difference between machine screw and post and nut fittings.
With a machine screw post, you will not have a nut and post on the inside of a drawer. Machine screw fittings will come with screws for 3/4" thick wood. If your wood is thicker or thinner, please tell us in the note field.
A post and nut is a very traditional way to mount drawer pulls. If your furniture is antique, or you want it to look that way, you should consider using a post and nut. The post itself is 1-1/4" long. For most drawers you will need to counterbore and or cut the excess length off the posts once installed to get an ideal fit
