This lovely blanket chest has some very interesting features. The graining of the white oak is outstanding and the raised panels add a formal element. Chris had us custom fabricate blanket chest hinges with special ends for him. He inset both the strap and the back edge so that the chest would close perfectly. This was Chris's first major woodworking project and not only was it challenging, much of the work was done by hand.
