Appliance handles for every application.
We have been asked many times for traditional appliance handles over the years; here we bring you the finest appliance handles anywhere.
For a company like ours, that makes traditional hardware, appliance handles posed an interesting challenge. There is no such thing as a period appropriate appliance pull. The beautiful paneled refrigerators of today barely existed ten years ago, much less 200 years ago. So we did what we do best. First, we took our extremely popular Charles Rennie Mackintosh cabinet pulls and scaled them up for use on modern appliances. Then we modified the design and created a smooth version without the pattern.
Our newest line, the Bakes pulls comes to us from a an English cabinetmaker in Long Island. Mr. Robert Bakes was also searching for a period appropriate series of pulls that could work across many different styles of cabinetry and homes. He took a vintage icebox latch and scaled it into 4 different sizes to fit everything from doors to drawers and refrigerators. The end result is simply stunning and can be used in traditional, transitional, and contemporary kitchens.
