How do these work: The “tails” drop down into the case of your chest, the bend goes over the case and get’s mortised flush, and the strap goes on the underside of your lid.

Typically, these hinges have long straps to go below the lid-we made these short specifically for the tool chests-so you can mount your saws on the inside.
