Bed bolt covers hide the holes where the bed bolts enter the bed posts, and they do it in a beautiful way. The ones shown here are stamped from very intricate dies and punches made by Frank Horton back in the 40's. These patterns were common during the Federal era.
The H-23, H-33, and H-120 bed bolt covers are made from heavier stock. All three are very early patterns and were originally cast. Each is available in antique brass, dark antique (oil rubbed bronze), semi-bright brass, and polished brass.
Sustainability. We choose our packing materials with the planet in mind. We use popcorn and newspaper. The popcorn, made from cornstarch, is a harmless alternative to Styrofoam. It is completely biodegradable and dissolves in water. The newspaper we use represents the ultimate recycling. Our employees bring it in and we reuse it!
