Once strictly relegated to clocks and mirrors, rosettes have evolved into an attractive and practical ornament for furniture and other facets of the home, such as trunks, windows, cabinets, and boxes. The elaborate metal trim adds a touch of style over damaged areas, and for finding the most accurate match, all brass rosettes are crafted with a choice of four hand-applied finishes: antique, semi-bright, and bright brass and our new dark antique. A pin, provided, secures the clock or mirror rosette, ranging in diameter from 1¼ to 2 5/8 inches, through the center.
Finish: You’ve striven to get your wood to glow. The brasses need to accentuate that effort. A beautiful finish is the final step.
Another of our blacksmiths shall remain nameless, as she is somewhat camera shy. She and her family live in a beautiful part of rural Kentucky on an old farm.
