Arts & Crafts Pulls

Arts and Crafts furniture became popular in the early 1900's. Gustav Stickley, William Morris, and the Roycrofts changed furniture design radically and that influence continues to this day through our mission style hardware. Designers moved away from the flamboyance of the Victorian era towards function, durability and strong design. Joinery was often exposed, and oak was the dominant wood. Original hardware was hammered and very dark in color. More popular today than ever, this Mission style hardware flies off our shelves.

Horton Brasses' Arts and Crafts drawer pulls encapsulate this simplicity. Although modern craftsmanship shapes each pull, timeless designs still pervade each shape, with faithful use of period patterns and shapes. Designed for several applications, our Arts and Crafts drawer pulls offer a choice of angular mission and rounded ring pull styles.

All of our bail pulls are measured by the boring of the pull. For example, a 3" bail pull will fit holes that measure 3" from center to center. If you need help with installation, refer to our boring and installation guide. If you know the size of the pulls you are trying to replace, refer to our boring chart to see all the hardware in that size.
