George Hepplewhite was an English cabinetmaker and furniture designer. His style is characterized by inlaid decoration, and light curvilinear forms. His renowned text: Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Guide, was published posthumously in 1788.
Delicate embossed oval pulls, stamped and finished one at a time. If you have existing holes, carefully measure from the middle of one hole to the middle of the other. This is called the boring. Then choose a pull with the same boring as yours. This way, you will not have to drill new holes and possibly affect the value of your antique piece.
Our H-7 with crossed cannon and trumpet is a particularly unique historical piece. An exact copy of an English original pull, the inscription reads Trafalgar, Nile, & Copenhagen, three naval battles fought by Lord Nelson one of England's most famed admirals.
Sustainability. We choose our packing materials with the planet in mind. We use popcorn and newspaper. The popcorn, made from cornstarch, is a harmless alternative to Styrofoam. It is completely biodegradable and dissolves in water. The newspaper we use represents the ultimate recycling. Our employees bring it in and we reuse it!
