Mackintosh Drop Pulls

Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a Scottish architect/designer/artist, gained recognition in the early part of the 20th century for his unusual use of square patterns combined with sensuous curves. While some consider his work to be in the Arts and Crafts style, others insist he blended Art Nouveau and Modernism. His work included public buildings and private residences and he often developed the furnishings and interior as well.

These designs complement Oriental and contemporary furnishings as well as Art Deco and Arts and Crafts homes. Each is a solid, heavy casting, and true to the period.

The AD-4065 and AD-4066 pulls mount with wood screws and require no through holes in the cabinetry.

Mackintosh Drop Pulls

I purchased the Mackintosh drawer pulls (AD-4064) for a large Eastlake buffet. They are heavy, solid, and beautiful, and go very well with the style of the piece in addition to being large enough to cover some misguided borings made by a previous owner.
