Bails

  • All hardware includes all fasteners needed for installation. You can order extra fasteners if required.
  • All dimensions are measured width by height.
  • Hardware is available in several different finishes. 70% of our products are ordered in the antique finish.
  • Are there post holes in your furniture? The distance between them is called the boring. Learn how to measure borings.

All bails are measured by the boring of the pull they will function with. A 3" bail will fit two posts that are 3" from center to center. Need matching posts? Click here to see what fits.

Bails

I've enjoyed working with Horton before, as I have a few pieces that require Chippendale hardware, and get regular use. These people not only have a wide scope of offerings, but actually responded quickly and helpfully to an email inquiry I made last time. I'd suggest purchasing spares for items in heavy use, but that would take away the fun of visiting the site more often, and my last purchase was years ago, due to their quality. Yeah, I know, I sound like a Readers Digest reviewer...NOT! I'm just happy that old fashioned attitudes about good service come along with a good product. Jeff
