Never content to rest on our laurels - Horton Brasses has a new brass butt hinge to offer! Our solid brass butt hinges have set the standard for quality, selection and price for some time now. But we kept hearing that they were to narrow for thicker doors. We listened, we responded. Our new large butt hinges are perfect for 1" thick or even 1-1/4" thick doors, as the open width is a hefty 1-3/4" wide. In addition, these large butt hinges have a slotted center hole so that you can make fit adjustments more easily. Holes are perfectly drilled and countersunk for a #6 screw; color matched 3/4" long Phillips head or slotted screws which are included.
Horton Brasses' beautiful antique style hinge are the essential complement to doors, cabinets, and reproduction furniture. For finding the best stylistic match, choose from standard and ball-tip butt hinges, as well as seven finishes ranging from light to antique to bright and nickel options.

All hinges ship with matching screws. Slotted or Phillips head screws are available. Remember to pre-drill screw holes if you’re using our hinges for hardwood cabinets.
