George Hepplewhite was an English cabinetmaker and furniture designer. His style is characterized by inlaid decoration, and light curvilinear forms. His renowned text: Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer's Guide, was published posthumously in 1788.
Delicate embossed oval pulls, stamped and finished one at a time. If you have existing holes, carefully measure from the middle of one hole to the middle of the other. This is called the boring. Then choose a pull with the same boring as yours. This way, you will not have to drill new holes and possibly affect the value of your antique piece.

I ordered the Sunburst Bails 2.5" in the antique brass finish. Got them in several days. They look amazing on the mahogany Hepplewhite buffet I just restored. Match the Stiffle lamps my wife ordered to a tee. Classic elegance. If you want really great selection (especially finish options) Hortons is the best in the biz.
