Some of the Hepplewhite 2-1/4" size bails had bumps on them, and when I contacted Horton about this I was told that the manufacturing process of the 2-1/4" bails is a little different from the other sizes. Therefore, they are often left with a slight bump or ripple in the middle. Horton was happy to replace the ones I wasn't satisfied with and were quick to respond. I was very impressed with their concern for customer satisfaction, and I was left happy with the purchase. The folks at Horton are top notch professional!!.
