Our beautiful cast brass chest lifts are handmade in England and finished here in our Connecticut factory. Please note, these are newly updated chest lifts and replace our prior versions with the same part number.
What makes a pull a chest lift and not just a regular drawer pull? You can use both on either-but chest lifts are unique for two reasons:
-They face mount with wood screws so nothing goes through to the inside of the case.
-A stop is cast into the nubs of the bail (handle) so it stops at about 90 degrees from your case.
Our chest lifts are traditional authentic reproductions. And while they are very heavy duty-they are not "lifting handles". The role of a chest lift is to provide a handhold for balance while lifting from the bottom. Chests, trunks, and boxes should always be lifted from the bottom.
