Description
The HF-14G Bean Suffolk Grip: A Compact Classic for Historic Symmetery
Bring the “sturdiness and substance” of early American ironwork to your doors with the HF-14G Bean Suffolk Grip. Part of our signature Horton’s Forge collection, this hand-forged grip is a stylistic and functional complement to our Suffolk latches, designed specifically for applications where a non-latching handle is required.
Measuring 7 inches in length, the HF-14G features the iconic “Bean” finial—a staple of colonial hardware. This grip is the ideal solution for the secondary leaf of a double door, allowing you to maintain a balanced, asymmetrical aesthetic without the need for a second functioning latch mechanism. Wrought by hand in the USA using a coal fire, hammer, and anvil, it offers a tactile, hand-hammered texture that mass-produced hardware simply cannot replicate.
Product Highlights:
Authentic Hand-Forging: Individually wrought from solid iron; less porous and significantly more durable than machine-made cast iron.

Period-Correct Aesthetic: Patterned after 18th-century originals common throughout the 13 colonies.
Durable & Comfortable: Features hand-softened edges and a 1-1/2″ hand space for a secure, comfortable hold.
