Product Description
During the early 1700s, furniture continued to become lighter and more comfortable in design, especially under the influence of the Dutch style. Room sizes also diminished, so pieces of furniture didn’t need to take up as much space. Also, Queen Anne introduced the custom of social tea drinking, so movable chairs and tables became necessary.
