Description
If you own a folding table or tray requiring additional support and stability, consider our butler tray and card table hinges. The former allows a tray top to fold out to a 90-degree angle, and snaps flat; a spring-loaded mechanism holds the tray in place, regardless of an up or down position. Previously, butler tray hinges were exclusively for such furniture, but in the present, they are requested and built into computer drawers, which support a keyboard or laptop. The hinge allows the laptop or keyboard to fold out of sight when not in use.
Card table hinges, on the other hand, are better-suited to antique or reproduction furniture. The hinge is installed into the edge, allowing the top to fold out or double over on top.
Although varying in size, butler tray and card table hinges are mortised, or installed into the surface of the wood. For modifying your table or tray, choose from five brass finishes.
