  • All hardware includes all fasteners needed for installation. You can order extra fasteners if required.
  • All dimensions are measured width by height.
  • Because each piece of iron hardware is made one at a time, quantity pricing is not available.

Copied from hardware found on antique trunks, these authentic pieces are beautifully fabricated from 1/16th" thick brass and iron. These are very high quality reproductions, suitable for antique boxes and the finest campaign style furniture.

Ohioans Darryl, Gary and Brian work together on some of our specialty hardware. A plasma cutter gives them the capability to make just about any shape, so if you have a special design you would like us to make, just contact Orion for help.

The iron finish is as shown, black and molted, and intended to look centuries old. Our brass trunk hardware is available in 4 finishes: antique, dark antique, semi-bright and bright. In these photos we are showing bright and antique.

Trunk Brackets

I was looking for something to accent a home improvement project I was working on, and what I had been finding was 'price prohibitive'... Then I found Horton Brasses!

The 'old' look I wanted, at a price I could afford! What could be better?

The transaction was easy, shipping fast, and the quality of the product exceeded my expectations. Horton even included the 'antique' looking screws to make the project complete, and kept the unique look I was trying to achieve.

Very pleased, and will be back here to shop in the future.

Why Horton Brasses?

Finish: You’ve striven to get your wood to glow. The brasses need to accentuate that effort. A beautiful finish is the final step.
