Locks

Effectively keep doors, drawers, and cabinets from opening with durable brass locks from Horton Brasses. An attractive and versatile brass exterior gives way to a classic steel box; a decorative key, with ornate antique details, complements each lock set. Although apt for modern and reproduction applications, locks are based on period forms.

Through Horton Brasses, find half- and full-mortise locks for large and small applications. For adding an additional level of security and protection throughout your home, choose from brass locks for boxes, drawers, cabinets and cupboards, desks, chests, and trunks.

Our production locks are made by one of two companies. A.E. Squires is in England and produces all the locks we have that are for wood 3/4" or thicker. These are high quality locks and are quite reliable. Viola, a Spanish firm, manufactures our tiny full mortise box lock--suitable for woods up to 1/2" thick.
