This knob is supplied with your choice of a 3/8" long wood screw or a 1" long 6-32 machine screw for installation. Other machine screw lengths are available upon request.
These classic little mushroom knobs are used for the pull-outs on desks and secretaries, small drawers, and on bread-board style work surfaces. Solid brass, made in Connecticut, 4 finishes and very inexpensive! Simple and understated.
Knobs are provided with your choice of a wood screw or machine screw (MSF). If you are using the machine screw and your wood is thicker or thinner than 3/4", please tell us the thickness of the wood in the comments section during the checkout so we can provide the proper screw.

My husband and I bought an antique desk that was missing a drawer knob. We searched for a replacement locally even asking a restorer of furniture. I make jewelry boxes to sell in area art shows. It was getting harder and harder to find a good quality brass knob. The ones that I was using had the screw end glued into the back of the knob. The knob would often times pull out of the post as you turned them into you drawer front.
These solid brass knobs are far superior in every way. The knobs that I use are threaded so the screw can go through the drawer into the back of the knob. So much stronger than my previous knobs. I use the bright finish which really accentuate the boxes whether they are made of oak or walnut. This is one great knob!
