This latch is what the doctor ordered. I installed it on an 18th century reproduction, 34 inch diameter tilt-top table. When lowering the table top, the latch catches very solidly, flawlessly, and smoothly every time. You won't be disappointed with this latch. I had originally ordered the H-43, but at the time of my order, it was no longer available from the supplier. HB suggested this smaller round latch which was a bit of a concern not knowing if it would work very well on a larger table top. But to my surprise, it works like a charm as described above. I'm very pleased!

This solid brass table catch is exactly what I needed to finish off my tilt-top table. It is beautiful, solid, and works like a charm. Installation was simple and straight forward. The people at Horton are always on my side, and have been for many years.
