Horton Brasses is pleased to introduce the Londonderry Brasses collection. Horton Brasses has acquired Londonderry and will be carrying the same products going forward. As soon as the inventory arrives, we will make it available to you.
Some of you may have known Nancy Cogger of Londonderry and, like you, we were saddened by her passing. We are honored to be carrying on the collection of brasses she so carefully curated over the years. For those of you unfamiliar with the products, the Londonderry Brasses line are lost wax cast copies of period originals. They are period correct in virtually every way: cast plates, bails, posts, and even the nuts (typically square or round).
The Londonderry finish is a fumed antique finish designed to accurately reproduce the look of an 18th century original We suggest that you highlight the finish a bit with steel wool after installation. Our five standard brass finishes will be available for a 20% upcharge on request.
Custom work: We welcome custom inquiries. We are happy to create custom lost wax cast copies of your period original hardware. Call or email us to discuss your project.
Prices: There will be significant discounts on some of the old stock. It will be first come, first serve, so keep an eye on this page if you’re hunting for something special.
