One of the most popular builds among the woodworking community, the Southern Cellarette was featured in the February 2013 issue of Popular Woodworking #202. The project calls for Rosette pulls, a desk hinge, and lock with esctucheon. We have bundled all the hardware listed in the issue into one kit and set it to the default Antique finish with machine screw fittings. If you would like to alter the finish or fittings let us know and we can adjust your order.
Great project, September 27, 2021 By Anonymous (Canton, GA)
I built this cellarette from Glen Huey's article and loved every minute of the process - same as with all Glen's projects. It has gotten a lot of attention in the neighborhood. Naturally, I used Horton brasses.
I just started another, but with mahogany. Micajah Wilkes crafted several known cellarettes; the one above sold for $165,000; the one I will use for the model this time sold in 2019 for $196,000. I will put it up for sale at our retirement community's arts and crafts fair - the first piece I have ever sold - the price will be considerably less!
Real Customer Service, September 13, 2016 By Bill Slater (Gulf Breeze, FL)
I've always thought that a company that provided quality products and "Real customer service" would hit the mark for a business that's a keeper! I'm impressed with all the help you've given me and will not just continue to purchase from you but also recommend you to anyone that will listen.
