The lock is of good quality, hard to find these days. I took 1 star away (it should be only 1/2 star) for the keys which are not of the same quality.

A customer of mine requested a new lock to replace the one that was missing on his 18th century Scottish case clock. After making measurements of the area where the original lock was on the back of the door, I set about trying to find a suitable replacement. Boy, did I look... It's not an easy size to find, and most all of the locks I found were of cheap manufacture and would never do for such a fine case clock. I found this lock on the Horton site, and ordered it. With minimal adjustment to the door, the new lock fit perfectly! Once that was mounted, and the door re-hung, I was able to install a brass catch I made out of flat stock and the project was finished. My customer was thrilled and commented on the workmanship of the lock,
