These highly ornate plates resemble some on a mahogany Philadelphia high chest of drawers of which it is said that few examples of American furniture can equal its extraordinary quality. It can be seen at Winterthur.

Thomas Chippendale, an English cabinet maker, circa 1700s, was one of a handful of artisans and craftsmen whose legacy continues to be popular today. Our Chippendale pulls reflect the incorporation of Rococo, Gothic and Chinese influences that were influential during his time. With over 100 styles to choose from, there's sure to be something for everyone!
