Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a Scottish architect/designer/artist, gained recognition in the early part of the 20th century for his unusual use of square patterns combined with sensuous curves. While some consider his work to be in the Arts and Crafts style, others insist he blended Art Nouveau and Modernism. His work included public buildings and private residences and he often developed the furnishings and interiors as well.
These designs complement Oriental and contemporary furnishings as well as Art Deco and Arts & Crafts homes. Each pull is a solid, heavy casting, and true to the period. Made in England, hand finished in the USA.
The AD-4065 and AD-4066 pulls mount with wood screws and require no through holes in the cabinetry.
