Precision Butt Hinges

Machined from solid brass extrusions, these are exceptional hinges. The 7 knuckles are fitted with extremely close tolerances, the fixed pin will never loosen, and each leaf is 3/32" thick. There is no finer cabinet hinge.

Available in two sizes, six finishes and with plain ends or ball tips.

Glen Huey is a very interesting person. He is often featured in Popular Woodworking magazine. Of course, we are always delighted when he chooses our hardware. In the June 2007 issue, he built a Sugar Chest, which is a piece with an interesting history. He hinged the top with precision butt hinge PB-409 (antique brass, slotted screws).

Why Horton Brasses?

Finish: You’ve striven to get your wood to glow. The brasses need to accentuate that effort. A beautiful finish is the final step.
