The 7 knuckles are fitted with extremely close tolerances, the fixed pin will never loosen, and each leaf is 3/32" thick. There is no finer cabinet hinge. As good, or better, than hinges costing twice as much.

Horton Brasses' beautiful antique-style hinges are the essential complement to doors, cabinets, and reproduction furniture. For finding the best stylistic match, choose from standard and ball-tip butt hinges, as well as seven finishes ranging from light to antique to bright.

Glen Huey chose this hinge, our PB-409 in antique brass, when he built his Sugar Chest for Popular Woodworking magazine.

Precision Butt Hinges

These really are precision hinges. I was able to mortise them in perfectly using gauge settings from the hinges. They fit flush and have zero slop. Another Anarchist tool chest completed!

Precision Butt Hinges

It's so great that you included steel screws with brass hinges to "pre-tap" the holes for the brass screws. I'm sold. Thanks.

I never would have believed that a hinge could be so well crafted. Wonderful product. I used for a mission style (bookcase) restoration.
