Authentic bed hardware is hard to find and here we offer a diverse selection of solid brass bed bolt covers in 5 finishes, steel bed bolts in 2 lengths, steel bed irons for supporting your box spring, and hand cast bronze bed wrenches. This style of bed hardware has been used on wooden beds for several centuries.
Practical and attractive, Horton Brasses bed hardware alludes to the Federal period of early American history. Hand-crafted dies and stamps replicate original elaborate bolt covers, while other hardware, such as bolts, wrenches, and irons, attractively hold components in place. All bed hardware is constructed by hand in Horton Brasses' Cromwell factory. As some parts are custom designed, check first with your bed installation blueprints before placing an order.
These cast bronze bed wrenches will fit our and all 3/8" square head bed bolts.

I was making a bed for a client and needed a bed bolt wrench. They are hard to find, but was pleased with the quality of this one.
Excellent bed wrench, March 2, 2016 By Michael Putzel (Washington, DC)
This is one of those tools that solves one challenge that doesn't repeat itself frequently. Therefore, it's not made or stocked by many hardware suppliers. I use it for tightening the bed bolts on two antique bed frames and for building and maintaining a reproduction of a cherry Shaker-style, pencil post bed. Nothing works as well.

Excellent product. My only criticism is that the handle could be just a touch longer for more leverage

Excellent quality, excellent product, as were the bed bolts that fit into our antique rope bed.
